Dharma, Karma and Moksh Tour

Destinations : New Delhi, Agra, Mathura, Varanasi, Bodhgaya, Rajgir (En route),
Vaishali (En Route),Kushinagar, Lumbini, Kapilvastu, Shravasti

Overview: A 13day tour that makes you achieve pure ‘nirvana', by taking you to the city of love-Agra and go on to see the divine temples in Krishna's land- Mathura, Varanasi, proceeding to Bodhgaya, etc. finish your tour in Shravasti, living and feeling the true worth of India and its spiritual nature.


Day 01: Arrive New Delhi
Upon arrival at New Delhi International Airport meet and assist and transfer to the Hotel. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 02: New Delhi-Agra (205 kms/4 hours)
After breakfast drive to Agra. Upon arrival check into hotel. Later in the afternoon proceed for sightseeing tour of the city. Visit Taj Mahal-the greatest monuments ever built & the Agra Fort-Huge Fort built by red sand stone. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 03: Agra-Mathura (by Road) -Varanasi (Train)
After breakfast proceed to Mathura visit to the birth place of Lord Krishna. Visit to Krishna Mandir, Govardhan Hills, Dwarkadhish Temple, Krishnajanambhoomi Temple and Ghats. Return to Hotel/Agra. Check out and proceed to Fatehpur Sikri. Later in the evening take overnight train to Varanasi. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 04: Varanasi/Mughal sarai Railway station
Arrival at Varanasi/Mughal Sarai Railway station 19 kms away from Varanasi). Meet and greet at the Railway station and transfer to the hotel. Check in hotel. After freshen up proceed for sightseeing of Sarnath located 10 kms is the place that the Buddha gave his first sermon to the five disciles; preaching the middle path to find "Nirvana" Realizing the sanctity of the place, emperor Ashoka in the 3rd Century BC lavished riches on it; building and creating some of the finest monuments and legacies for future generations. In the evening we will take you to Dashashvamedha Ghat near to Vishwanath Temple for evening Ganga Aarti. Later return to the hotel for overnight stay.

Day 05: Varanasi
Early morning leave for a boat ride on the holy river Ganges. Visit by boat the bathing ghats (steps leading to the river) and the cremation ghats, followed by return to the Hotel for breakfast. Later drive to the city for a brief city tour visiting Bharat Mata Temple which houses one of the most perfect relief map of India carved out of marble, Durga Temple. Later the day free for personal activities. In the evening visit to Ghats and one have purification ritual under the guidance of our guide along with priest. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 06:Varanasi-Bodhgaya (255 kms)
After breakfast drive to Bodhgaya. The Buddha attained enlightenment in Bodhgaya, under the Bodhi tree, 10 Km. from Gaya, the ancient Hindu pilgrimage center. The tree from the original sapling still stands in the temple premises. It is the most important Buddhist Pilgrimage center as Buddhism was born here upon arrival hotel check in and later visit to Mahbodhi Temple and other temples around. Overnight at hotel.

Day 07: Bodhgaya-Rajgir-Nalanda-Patna
Early morning after breakfast drive to Patna- Patna is one of the oldest city the city flourished during Mauryan Dynasty. Many great man of the era is associated with this place during those days it was called as Patliputra. The Ashoka the great, Chandragupta Maurya, Aryabhatta etc all were from here. En route visit Rajgir and Nalanda. Arrive Patna and check in at hotel. Rajgir in Patna district was the ancient capital city of the Magadha Kings.The Buddha often came here to retreat at the Jivkamaravana monastery in a beautiful orchard. Near Rajgir is the Bimbisara Ka Jail, Venuvana, Jarasandha Ka Akhara which are all worth visiting. Though the Buddha visited Nalanda several times during his lifetime, this famous Center of Buddhist learning shot to fame much later, during 5th – 12th Centuries in this first residential international university of the world, 2000 teachers and 10000 students from all over the Buddhist world lived and studied here. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 08: Patna-Vaishali-Kushinagar
Morning after breakfast drive to Kushinagar en route visiting Vaishali. Vaishali is very special to a Buddhist. Buddha delivered his last sermon here and announced his impending 'nirvana'. Some of the great incidents in his life also occurred here, like the courtesan Amrapali giving him a mango orchard and later becoming a Buddhist nun. Vaishali is also birth place of Mahavira. Visit to Vaishali Ashokan Pillar and Stupas where the monks used to meditate and Lord Buddha delivered his last sermon.. Kushinagar is sacred site for Buddhists. It is believed that Buddha attained "Mahapari-Nirvana"; release from the endless cycle of birth and rebirth, at Kushinagar. Upon arrival at Kushinagar. Check into the hotel. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 09: Kushinagar-Lumbini
Early morning after breakfast visit to The Nirvana Temple Ramabhar Stupa the brick stupa is built on the same spot where Lord Buddha was criminated in 483 BC. Nirvana Stupa is the place where copper Vessel containing the remains of Buddha ashes has been interred in this place. Also visit to other temples built by different countries. Later drive to Lumbini. Lumbini is the place where Lord Buddha was born and spent his early childhood before departing in search of cause of Human Suffering. Arrival at Lumbini. Hotel check in. Lumbini is the most sacred spot for the Buddhist as at this place Lord Buddha was born some 25 centuries ago. It is a piece of heaven on earth and one could see the snowy mountains amidst a splendid garden-embedded with stupas and monasteries. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 10: Lumbini-Kapilvastu-Shravasti
Morning after breakfast excursion tour of Kapilvastu. It was at Kapilvastu, the seat and capital of Sakya clan, amidst opulent surroundings that the young prince Siddhartha grew up. It is here that he, on seeing sorrow and pain, sickness and death, decided to renounce all worldly riches and pleasures to seek truth and the path to salvation. Later continue your journey to reach Saravasti is intimately associated with the life of Buddha. It is said to have been founded by the mythological king Sravast. It was in this prosperous city that Buddha spend 24 monsoons. Upon arrival hotel check in. Overnight at hotel.

Day 11: Shravasti-Lucknow- (158 kms) New Delhi (Shatabdi Express : DEP : 1520 / ARR : 2145 )
Early morning visit to the Angulimala’s stupa, Maheth and Saheth Moreover, Shravasti is the holy land of all the four Kalyanakas Chayan, Birth, Diksa and Attainment of omniscience of Bhagawan Samabhavanath. After quick sightseeing drive to Lucknow (approx 4 hours drive). Drive straight to Lucknow Railway station to board the train for New Delhi.Upon arrival at New Delhi Railway station met by our representative and transfer to the hotel for overnight stay.

Day 12: New Delhi
Morning after breakfast, leave for a combined sightseeing of Old & New Delhi.
New Delhi: Visit the monument to thousands of martyred soldiers - the India Gate, drive past the Raj Path to see the Government Buildings. Humayun Tomb, Qutab Minar.
Old Delhi: Visit to Red Fort and drive past Chandani Chowk (One of the busiest streets in Asia ) and Jama Masjid. Also visit Raj Ghat. Afternoon free for shopping. time free for independent activities or shopping. Evening leave for a special farewell dinner & cultural dance show. Overnight at hotel.

Day 13: New Delhi
Breakfast at Hotel. Free time till check out. On time you will be transferred to International Airport for flight back to home.
