Places Covered: New Delhi/Kolkata-Dibrugarh-Mokokchung-Tuophema Village-Kohima-Imphal-Aizawl - New Delhi/Kolkata fly out.

Day 01: New Delhi/Kolkata
Upon arrival at India International Airport meet and assist at the airport. Transfer to the hotel for overnight jouyney. Overnight at hotel.

Day 02: New Delhi/Kolkata- Dibrugarh (Flight)
After breakfast you will be transferred to the hotel. Check into the hotel. PM: At leisure time to explore the surroundings. Dibrugarh is the tea capital of India where world quality teas are grown here. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 03: Dibrugarh – Mokokchung (150 km / 5 hours)
After breakfast drive to Mokokchung and check into Tourist Lodge. Afternoon visit Ao Naga tribal villages. Overnight at Tourist lodge.

Day 04: Mokokchung – Tuophema (115 km / 4 hours)
Post breakfast proceed to Tuophema. Check into Village resort built in the Angami Naga style with amenities for a comfortable stay. Walk in the old village, visit the small but interesting museum. Evening enjoy a traditional dance performance by the local people. Overnight at Tourist village.

Day 05: Tuophema
After breakfast a short drive toa village inhabited by the Rengma Naga tribe. You can have a look at the traditional weaving in some households and also buy Naga shawls or stoles, if interested, direct from the villagers. Afternoon at Tuophema. Overnight at village resort.

Day 06: Tuophema – Kohima (45 km / 1.30 hours)
After breakfast you will be transferred to Kohima the capital city of the Nagaland state of India. P.M. visit the Second World War memorial and the very interesting local market. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 07: Kohima
After breakfast take a tour of Khonoma village, 20 km one way. Afternoon drive short distance to the southern Angami tribal village of Kigwema. Overnight Kohima.

Day 08: Kohima – Dimapur – Imphal (2 hours drive / 40 minutes flight)
After an early breakfast you will be transferred to the Dimapur airport for flight to Imphal the capital city in the Indian state of Manipur. You will be met and assist at the airport and will be transferred to the hotel. Afternoon visit the Ima or ‘all mothers’ market in the city which is exclusively run by women and is one of the oldest traditional market going on. This is where you see Manipuri women selling traditional wares sitting on raised platforms. Overnight at imphal.

Day 09: Imphal
In the morning after breakfast visit to the famous floating lake of Loktak – the weeds in the lake entwine themselves to form large round floating islands strong enough to withstand the weight of humans and animals. Visit to nearby Keibul Lamjao national park well known for the rare ‘Sangai’ or the dancing deer of Manipur.

Day 10: Imphal
After breakfast visit to the temple of Shree Govindaji Temple and WW II cemeteries of both the allied and Japanese forces. Afternoon exclusive traditional dance organized. – Manipur is famous for its Vaishnavite culture and dance forms. Overnight at hotel.

Day 11: Imphal – Aizawl (flight)
After breakfast transfer to the airport for flight to Aizawl. Upon arrival meet and assist and transfer to Hotel. Afternoon visit to the Bara Bazar. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 12: Aizawl
Post breakfast you will be driven to Reik village a short distance from Aizawl. Spend the day walking along its pathways meeting villager’s folk. Return to Aizawl in the afternoon. Leisure time and overnight at hotel.

Day 13: Aizawl – Kolkata/New Delhi
After breakfast you will be transferred to the Airport for flight to Kolkata or New Delhi for onward journey.
