This 4-day Amarnath tour from Srinagar offers a perfect blend of spirituality and adventure. Starting in the serene town of Pahalgam, you embark on a memorable trek through Chandanwari and Sheshnag, experiencing breathtaking mountain views en route to the sacred Amarnath Cave. The highlight is the darshan of the ice lingam, a divine symbol of Lord Shiva. After completing the pilgrimage, you return through Baltal, with the majestic Kashmir Valley accompanying you throughout the journey. This pilgrimage is both spiritually uplifting and visually rewarding.

Arrive in Srinagar, where you will be greeted by scenic views of the Kashmir Valley. Upon arrival, transfer to Pahalgam, a picturesque town and the base for the Amarnath Yatra, situated about 90 km from Srinagar. The drive takes around 3–4 hours, passing through lush green meadows, forests, and rivers. Check into your hotel in Pahalgam and take the evening to relax and enjoy the serene beauty of the Lidder River. Overnight in Pahalgam.

After an early breakfast, drive to Chandanwari (16 km from Pahalgam), the starting point of the trek to Amarnath Cave. From Chandanwari, begin the 12 km trek to Sheshnag, a beautiful high-altitude mountain lake. The trail offers breathtaking views of the rugged mountains, and Sheshnag is known for its emerald-green waters and surrounding snow-capped peaks. Overnight stay in camps or guesthouses at Sheshnag.

Start early and trek from Sheshnag to the sacred Amarnath Cave (16 km), which takes you through Mahagunas Pass (4,270 meters) and along the picturesque Pissu Top. The cave houses the revered ice lingam, a naturally formed symbol of Lord Shiva that is the focus of the Amarnath pilgrimage. After paying worship and spending time at the cave, descend towards Baltal (14 km). Upon arrival in Baltal, rest and overnight in camp or a guesthouse.

After breakfast, drive back to Srinagar (approximately 3–4 hours) through the scenic valleys and pine forests.
