Ramayana Circuit
Embark on a 7-day journey that explores the spiritual and historical heart of India. Start your tour in the vibrant capital of Delhi before flying to Ayodhya, the birthplace of Lord Ram. Conclude your journey in the sacred city of Varanasi, known for its temples and ghats along the holy Ganges River. This journey blends history, religion, and culture, offering a deep spiritual experience.
Day 1: Arrival in Delhi
Upon arrival in Delhi, you will be greeted and transferred to your hotel.
Day 2: Delhi
Today, explore Old and New Delhi. Visit iconic landmarks such as Jama Masjid, one of India’s largest mosques, followed by a thrilling rickshaw ride through the narrow lanes of Chandni Chowk. Continue to the Red Fort and Raj Ghat, the memorial of Mahatma Gandhi. Later enjoy a drive past Presidential Palace, Parliament House and India Gate and continue you to Humayun’s Tomb and the Qutub Minar. In the evening, return to your hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 3: Delhi - Ayodhya
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight to Ayodhya, the birthplace of Lord Rama. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and relax. In the afternoon, embark on a guided tour of Ayodhya, visiting significant religious sites such as Ram Janmabhoomi,Hanuman Garhi Temple, and Kanak Bhawan (time permitting). Enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of the ghats along the Sarayu River before returning to the hotel. Overnight in Ayodhya.
Day 4: Ayodhya
Spend the day exploring the spiritual and historical importance of Ayodhya. Suggested visits are: Visit Treta Ke Thakur, a temple marking the site where Lord Rama is said to have performed the Ashwamedha Yajna. Explore the Nageshwarnath Temple and enjoy a serene boat ride along the Sarayu River. The evening can be spent witnessing the traditional Aarti at the ghats, absorbing the devotional ambience. Overnight in Ayodhya.
Day 5: Ayodhya – Varanasi (approx. 5hrs drive)
After breakfast, depart for Varanasi, a city revered as one of the oldest continuously inhabited cities in the world and a major spiritual destination for Hindus. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and spend the afternoon at leisure. In the evening, witness the mesmerizing Ganga Aarti on the ghats of the holy river, an experience steeped in devotion and tradition. Overnight in Varanasi.
Day 6: Explore Varanasi
Start your day early with a sunrise boat ride on the Ganges, a peaceful experience watching pilgrims perform their morning rituals. Later, visit the Kashi Vishwanath Temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva, and explore the narrow lanes of Varanasi filled with temples, shops, and bustling markets. In the afternoon, take an excursion to Sarnath, where Lord Buddha delivered his first sermon. Return to Varanasi for overnight stay.
Day 7: Varanasi - Delhi (Fly)
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight back to Delhi. Upon arrival, either connect to your onward flight or explore the capital at your own pace, depending on your schedule. Your memorable journey through India’s most revered spiritual and cultural sites concludes.
