This curated Parsi Circuit Tour takes travelers through key destinations in Gujarat and Maharashtra, where the Parsi community first settled and flourished. Discover the cultural richness of Parsi heritage, marvel at historic Atash Behrams (fire temples), and immerse yourself in the unique traditions of the Zoroastrian community.
Day 1: Arrival in Mumbai
Arrive in Mumbai and begin your journey with an introduction to Parsi heritage. Explore Dadar Parsi Colony, a prominent residential area for the Parsi community, and savor local Parsi delicacies.
Day 2: Mumbai
Begin your day with a visit to the oldest fire temples in Mumbai, including the Wadia Atash Behram and the Bombay Parsi Punchayet. Experience the lively Parsi Bazaar and gain insights into Parsi rituals and traditions.
Day 3: Mumbai to Udvada
Travel to Udvada (approx.. 4 hours by car), the most sacred town for Parsis in India, home to the revered Iranshah Atash Behram. Spend time at the fire temple and enjoy a serene evening on the beach.
Day 4: Udvada to Navsari
Today morning after breakfast continue to Navsari, known as the “homeland of Parsis.”. Arrive and visit the Navsari Atash Behram and explore traditional Parsi homes and shops.
Day 5: Navsari to Surat
Drive to Surat. Arrive and visit the Seth Rustamji Dhanjibhai Agiari and the historic Dutch Garden, showcasing the city’s multicultural heritage. Learn about the early history of Parsis in Gujarat.
Day 6: Surat to Sanjan
Travel to Sanjan, where Parsis first landed in India. Visit the Bahrot Caves, which hold historical significance for the Parsi community. Spend the evening visiting local monuments and landmarks.
Day 7: Sanjan to Mumbai
Head back to Mumbai (approx.. 3hrs).Arrive in Mumbai with the unforgettable memory of this tour.
