Day 1: Arrival in Mysore & Palace Tour
Arrive in Mysore and check into your hotel. Begin your tour with the Mysore Palace, one of India’s most renowned royal residences, famous for its intricate interiors and regal architecture. Witness the evening illumination of the palace, a special event during the Dussehra season, where the palace is beautifully lit with thousands of bulbs. Wrap up with a welcome dinner featuring local Mysorean dishes at a renowned restaurant.
Day 2: Mysore
Today morning visit Chamundi Hill to explore the Chamundeshwari Temple, offering panoramic views of Mysore. En route, stop by the Nandi Bull statue, one of the largest in India. Return to the city to visit St. Philomena’s Church, an architectural marvel known for its neo-gothic design. Head to Brindavan Gardens at dusk to witness the musical fountain show by the river, a mesmerizing display of lights and music. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 3: Mysore Dussehra Celebrations

Day 4: Mysore
Today morning proceed for an excursion to Srirangapatna, a historic town near Mysore, where you’ll explore the Ranganathaswamy Temple, Tipu Sultan’s Summer Palace, and Gumbaz Mausoleum. Return to Mysore for some final shopping at Devaraja Market, known for spices, silk, and souvenirs.
Day 5: Depart Mysore
Today morning check out from your hotel room and depart for your onward journey, concluding your Dussehra tour.
