Ganesh Chaturthi Mumbai Tour is a vibrant cultural journey celebrating one of Maharashtra’s most beloved festivals. Held annually to honour Lord Ganesha, this festival transforms Mumbai with colourful processions, intricate idols, and grand ceremonies. The itinerary includes visits to key locations around the city where the festival’s energy is most palpable, offering a full immersion into Mumbai’s festive spirit and cultural heritage.

Upon arrival, you are transferred to their hotel for check-in. The first day is dedicated to exploring the festive markets, such as the Crawford Market and Lalbaug, where artisans and vendors showcase vibrant idols, decorations, and sweets. In the evening, you visit the Siddhivinayak Temple, one of Mumbai’s most revered temples dedicated to Lord Ganesha, to witness the early evening aarti (prayer).

The day starts with a visit to some of Mumbai’s most famous pandals (temporary structures housing large Ganesha idols), such as the iconic Lalbaugcha Raja and Andhericha Raja. These pandals are known for their grand decorations and thousands of devotees who gather to pay homage. You get the chance to participate in traditional aarti ceremonies, witness offerings, and experience the devotional atmosphere. The day also includes exploring various neighbourhoods to see unique community celebrations.

Begin the day with a sightseeing tour of Mumbai’s historic and cultural landmarks, including the Gateway of India, Marine Drive, and Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus. In the evening, you return to the pandals to observe the rituals that take place as offerings and prayers are made before immersion day. You can also sample festival foods and enjoy folk performances in the streets. Overnight in Mumbai.

The final day of the tour is dedicated to Ganesh Visarjan, the procession and immersion of Ganesha idols into the sea, symbolising Lord Ganesha’s return to his celestial abode. You join thousands of devotees who celebrate with music, dance, and chants of “Ganpati Bappa Morya!” The procession ends at beaches like Girgaum Chowpatty, where you witness the emotional farewell. Post-Visarjan, you are transferred back to the hotel to freshen up before departing.
