An evening welcome dinner will feature a variety of North Indian dishes, preparing guests for the days ahead.

Guests will travel to Mathura, the birthplace of Lord Krishna, early in the morning. Here, the Holi festivities officially begin with a visit to local temples and colorful Holi events. The afternoon will be spent in Vrindavan, where participants will join locals in “Phoolon Ki Holi” (Flower Holi) at the Banke Bihari Temple, followed by temple tours and stories of Krishna. The day concludes with an evening stay at a hotel in Mathura.

The tour continues to Barsana and Nandgaon, famous for the traditional “Lathmar Holi” – where women playfully ‘beat’ men with sticks in a traditional re-enactment. This lively celebration allows guests to witness and partake in cultural rituals while enjoying sweets, snacks, and colored powders. The evening will include a Holi-themed cultural performance and dinner back at the hotel, ending the day with music and dancing.
