Day 1: Arrival in Ahmedabad

Arrive in Ahmedabad and check into your hotel. Begin your journey with a guided heritage walk through the Old City, exploring iconic spots like the intricately carved Swaminarayan Temple, the centuries-old Pol (traditional neighbourhood) houses, and the picturesque Sidi Saiyyed Mosque with its celebrated latticework. Return to the hotel to freshen up before heading to your first Garba night, where locals in colourful traditional attire gather for rhythmic dancing. Participate or simply enjoy the mesmerizing energy of the Garba performances.

Day 2: Excursion to the Modhera Sun Temple and Navaratri Festival

After breakfast, set off for a half-day excursion to the stunning Modhera Sun Temple, an architectural marvel dating back to the 11th century. Explore the intricately carved temple dedicated to the Sun God and take in the tranquillity of the surrounding landscape. Return to Ahmedabad by early evening and prepare for another Garba night at a different venue, allowing you to experience unique themes, costumes, and dance styles.

Day 3: Depart Ahmedabad

Begin your last day with a visit to the famous Vaishnodevi Temple, a revered site that mirrors the original in Jammu, followed by a tour of the iconic Sabarmati Ashram, Mahatma Gandhi’s former residence. This visit offers insights into Gandhi’s life and teachings. Conclude with a shopping excursion to Law Garden Night Market for traditional Navaratri attire, handicrafts, and souvenirs before departure.
