On arrival in Pushkar, you check into their hotel and get their first introduction to the town’s lively atmosphere. The afternoon is dedicated to exploring the streets and vibrant bazaars, where local artisans display intricate handicrafts, jewelry, and traditional attire. Later, visitors gather at the ghats of Pushkar Lake for the evening Aarti (prayer ceremony), experiencing the city’s serene spiritual side.

The day brings you to the heart of the Pushkar Camel Fair. Here, visitors witness the bustling trade of camels, horses, and livestock, a tradition dating back centuries. Various activities, including camel races, cattle parades, and livestock trading, provide a fascinating insight into local culture. The afternoon and evening are filled with Rajasthani folk performances, including dance, music, and the famed “matka phod” (pot-breaking) competition.

After breakfast, you embark on a sightseeing tour of Pushkar’s historic and religious sites, including the Brahma Temple—one of the few temples dedicated to the Hindu god Brahma. Next, you visit Pushkar Lake for a holy dip, as it’s believed the lake was formed by the lotus petals of Brahma. The afternoon includes more fair activities like tug-of-war, traditional competitions, and a chance to see artisans at work. Evening events include a folk dance and music concert, capturing the spirit of Rajasthani culture.

On this final day, you can enjoy a leisurely morning, soaking in the last of the Pushkar Festival’s vibrant atmosphere. You may visit the bazaar for last-minute shopping before departure.
